Privacy Policy — SnapIT

Last updated: 3 July 2026

SnapIT (“the app”) is a receipt scanner and expense tracker published by AAIRC. This policy explains what the app does — and does not do — with your information. In short: SnapIT works entirely on your device and does not send your receipts, expense data, or any personal information to us or to any third party.

The short version

Information the app handles (all on your device)

Permissions the app requests

The app does not request the internet permission for its own use; it makes no network calls to AAIRC. (Google Play services components bundled for the camera and location features may declare their own permissions, but SnapIT does not use them to send your data anywhere.)

Data you choose to export or share

SnapIT can generate Excel (.xlsx), CSV, and PDF reports of your receipts, and let you email, share, or print them. These actions are initiated by you, and the data goes only where you send it (for example, to an email app you choose). AAIRC does not receive a copy.

Data sharing and selling

We do not collect, sell, rent, or share your personal information or expense data with anyone. Because your data never reaches us, we have nothing to share.

Data retention and deletion

Your data lives on your device. You can delete individual receipts, categories, or all app data at any time from within the app or via your device settings. Uninstalling the app removes its local data from your device.

Children’s privacy

SnapIT is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change in a future version, we will update this policy and revise the “Last updated” date above before the new version is released.
